Skoolaborate aims to lead the way and demonstrate to educators around the globe how virtual worlds and interactive technologies can be used, not only to engage students in learning, but to enhance their educational opportunities as well.
The aim of this project is for students in years 10 -12 to investigate youth culture in relation to Art across Australia. The project will engage students in a meaningful interaction focused on values and culture across curriculum areas and industry pathways. Students and teachers will work in real time and asynchronously in the physical and virtual environments.
The National Gallery proposal could involve all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island students across the educational community in Far North Queensland and Victoria.
