Day 3 Phil joins Skoolaborate he is the owner of BASTE a graphic design company in Cairns. Phil is very keen to inspire our Bamaga Students towards pathways in the graphic design industry. Phil brings 15 years of industry experience to share with the students.
Day 3 our student numbers have grown with two more students keen to be apart of the project. All students have been amazing, they are on task and improving their skills in Skoolaborate and in visual storytelling.
Phil has introduced ‘Comics in Photoshop’ where students have scanned their draft designs and are working in CS5 an industry standard photoshop developing their skills and knowledge. Students have navigated the toolbar, worked with layers and various comic-book style photoshop effects.
With Phil’s expertise the students comic book covers and visual storyboards are starting to take shape. There is a strong combination of meaning and stunning graphic art.
